Tooling Competence Centre – AddUp GmbH

The AddUp Tooling Competence Centre is a workshop focused on application development within the tooling industry utilizing additive manufacturing. The space is located within the WBA Tooling Academy in Aachen, Germany and is equipped with a FormUp 350 Powder Bed Fusion (PBF) machine to support application development for tooling manufacturers.

AddUp has extensive experience in the tooling industry developing applications and materials best suited for mold and tool production. The Tooling Competence Centre provides a resource for tooling manufacturers to validate their applications and partner with an expert in PBF technology. Tool makers will have the opportunity to submit application cases for evaluation beyond a simple proof-of-concept. They will be able to study all aspects of their project, from the design applied to PBF, to the profitability analysis and the study of series production. AddUp is excited to provide this solution to the tooling industry through the Tooling Competence Centre.
