Traditional manufacturing of this type of coolant nozzle is difficult and requires impossible internal geometries. AddUp’s FormUp 350 was used to create a one-piece optimized coolant nozzle that could deliver coolant flow into precise locations.

By using additive manufacturing instead of traditional manufacturing, there was a reduced production lead time and less components required for assembly.
